Furc. (Character) Description:
Svelte physique complimented this young femme; nigrescent hues coalesced with cerulean. Azure orbs held a lambent light that conspicuously showed compassion; yet also a frigid edge. Two pallid feathers perched precariously behind her ample ears. In her maw, was clutched a cuspidated kunai; around her neck was a Leaf Village headband she wore as a collar.
The Leaf Village headband and Kunai are just part of my port, but are not usually there ICly =P
Questions
What Staff Position are you looking for?: Anything you find me suitable for; I can also make patches and have made a walkabout before x3
How long have you been on furcadia?: Roughly a year now.
How many hours are you on furcadia each day?: For weekdays, 1-2. Weekens, 4-8. Since it's summer, now it's every day, 5-10 hours xD
Which days are you on?: More or less every day.
Have you ever worked in a dream, and if so list your previous jobs: I have worked in a couple of dreams;
Little Pet Shop, as a Complaint manager.
Which is probably the most noticable. The rest are rather minor little dreams, or dreams of my own.
Why should we hire you? (Write 30 words or more.)
I am a literate RPer; I can be friendly to newcomers and twinks, without exploding on them for their lack of intelligence. I believe I can be mature enough to take responsibility as a staff member in the dream, while not beings pushy,
arrogant, annoying, foolish or immature and abusing share. I have
been RPing for many years, without using "elite words" like
whipcord, mitts, daggers, tassel, clocks, tincture, visionaries,
luminaries, etcetera, and am experienced enough for most IC
dreams.
Roleplay Post (Make sure to make it three lines or longer.):
This is part of a story I'm writing. I hope you don't mind that Arca isn't in it :/
Archym gazed down from the hill, his lithe and powerful frame silhouetted against the breaking dawn. His ears perked intently as a faint, almost inaudible rustle came from a bush behind. Cautiously, the Alpha’s hackles rose like a crest of spines along his neck; Achym’s lips curled back to reveal sharp teeth, which were bared in a silent snarl. He was acutely aware of the dangers lurking in the forest in these troubled times.
Slowly his bristling fur relaxed in recognition. He acknowledged the newcomer with a friendly muzzle. The beautiful queen was his mate, Ekana. Archym, after being her mate for so long, still marveled at her intense yet gentle viridian eyes, slender muzzle, large, elegant ears and trim legs. The Alphess had a long, luxuriant tannish coat which was streaked with lighter hues; her underbelly was pure white like a Tundra Wolf, and Ekana’s tail was abnormally long, full and feathery in texture.
Archym had fought long and hard against other males to claim Ekana as his Alphess, and he had no regrets. Many were infuriated, as Ekana was probably the shrewdest, most compassionate and understanding wolven in the pack.
Ekana rested the side of her head on Archym’s head.
“Up for a hunt?” she asked, her playful eyes sparkled with anticipation. Archym nodded in reply, and gestured with his tail for her to follow. She butted him affectionately, ignoring his signal and padded beside Archym, flank brushing against his, clearly not wanting to be led.
They prowled the territory for many hours. Archym stopped abruptly at the first signs of prey, causing Ekana to pump into him and growl in frustration. Her maw lifted to the air, and she sniffed in the crisp morning air. ‘Food’ the mere thought had her salivating with anticipation of the hunt. All debility seemed to ebb as both the leader’s ears perked intently. A rustle drifted through the zephyr. A tawny doe with white dapples was grazing not to far off; one or two bounds would bring her nose to nose with it. It was alone.
His jowls parted, as if he could already taste the flesh of its entrails. It was tempting to pounce upon and kill it now. With great caution Archym lowered himself into the thick foliage surrounding her. Hunger flickered lambently within her desperate eyes. Yet the doe was looking straight at her; a direct attack and the prey could escape. His limbs began to shake in anxiety.
Suddenly a sharp whisper pierced the silence.
“This isn’t just you’re kill!” Ekana snapped; the doe stopped, and lifted its slender head. It’s amber eyes glittered fiercely with conspicuous terror. Ekana’s dexterity and cunning seemed to rush back in spite of her fatigued state. The Alphess dropped to her paws, underbelly just brushing the frost coated grass beneath her. She cast a sidelong glance to verify that Archym was at her side.
The doe began to turn to escape through a thicket of brambles, but Archym snarled malovently, causing it to turn for a few brief moments. At that time, Ekana leaped again, attempting to catch the doe by the neck. Though aggravated and unsure, the deer retaliated instantly, backing off to the side. It return, Ekana was blinded by desperation and lunged once again, swiping her forepaws catching the prey by a foreleg, and latching on. Archym sprinted forwards and leapt onto the doe’s back and began to score his claws along its back, neck and flank. As the deer flailed, Ekana was thrown off. She charged forwards with grim determination, and threw herself into the doe’s side, knocking it over. Archym barely rolled off in time as it crashed to the ground
With triumph, they stood over the deer that lay sprawled on the ground. Ekana bent her head closer to check if it was alive. It began to kick at her face, and she feinted most of them, though the deer succeeded in catching the side of her neck. A forted yelp emitted from her throat. Archym bounded over, right paw lifted, and was brought down to deliver a killing swipe at the neck. Maroon blood oozed from its severed throat. The deer gave a last shudder; eyes glazed in horror, and lay dead on the ground.
A victorious howl pierced the sky as the two leaders stared down at their kill. Archym bit into its fleshy neck and began to drag it.
“Good hunt.” He said amiably.
“Mhm. Archym, wait here for a second, I’ll be right back” she shot him a sharp look as if threatening him, and Archym snorted with contempt. Luckily, she was out of earshot.
He wondered what Ekana was looking for, and peered around curiously. She had reached the edge of the ice, where a pair of plump, juicy rabbits resided, looking in the opposite direction, unaware of the danger. She crept closer and closer, and leapt upon them; her paw came crashing down on the first tone’s back. It emitted an odd, squealing sound, and its eyes clouded over as Ekana’s claws penetrated through its fur as she came down on all four paws.
The remaining rabbit bunched it haunches to hop off, but the Alphess was much quicker. She turned around, muscles smoothly rippling under her pelt; each movement seemed automatic, like a reflex. Her free paws slashed the remaining rabbit’s head and it fell to the ground.
“Not bad, eh?” she called, seeing that Archym had edged out of the ferns to watch.
