Teams in Icee Peaks are dogs and a human (musher) working together to get things done on a sled. This could be, delivering stuff, racing, or just for fun!
Informal teams, a team that anybody can have, can have anywhere from one to many many dogs. But formal teams, teams that have a specific amount of dogs, are registered, and can participate in races and the likes, are much more complicated.
- It is suggested you only have one dog character be on a team. Why? Because what if the team one of your characters is on, and another team your other character is on, and so on all enter in the same race? How're you going to keep up with all 3 or so teams at once? Also, no more than one alt in the same team.
- A formal team can have no less than 5 dogs, and no more than 16.
- A team has 1 musher.
- You must register the team before running it in any races.
LEAD DOG(S): Steer the team and lead them to the destination. May be one or two.
SWING DOGS: Directly behind the leader(s). Swings the rest of the team in the direction of the leader(s), and sets the pace. Generally two.
TEAM DOGS: Between Swing Dogs and Wheel Dogs, they add power to the team.
WHEEL DOGS: Right infront of the sled, usually calm tempered and strong.
- Once you have a musher and at least 5 dogs, locate the Team Registration board, fill out the form, and post it in a new topic.
- Wait for a staffer to accept your team.
- Then, go to the Teams board and set up a team profile.
